General Terms

  1. Learners are required to have 100% attendance for all theory classes, practical sessions and assessments. Classes will begin promptly at the published times regardless of whether all learners are present. Trainers are not responsible for repeating missed work. Class hours may be varied at a-training’s discretion, without prior notice.
  2. Failure to attend a course for any reason will not automatically entitle the learner to access the course at a later date.  In the event of the course being cancelled by a-training, learners will be given alternative course dates, subject to availability.
  3. Learners are required to wear uniforms/scrubs throughout the courses, no long sleeves. Hair is to be kept neat and tied up during any practical work. Nails to be short, no jewellery, Casual covered shoes only – No boots, Kitten heels/high heels, sandals or flip flops.  Attending not wearing the correct attire, may mean you cannot complete the course on the day.
  4. Employer’s guarantee – any learner who is employed by any other organisation will not be solicited for the purposes of employment whilst that learner is attending any course.
  5. Minimum age requirement is 18 years of age.
  6. Withdrawal from courses at any stage throughout a programme may incur additional charges for de-registration.
  7. a-training reserves the right to alter prices at any time which will supersede any prices displayed on brochures, flyers or websites. Prices are exclusive of VAT (VAT registration number 3427 04910).
  8. Please note a-training cannot be held responsible for any transport issues or accommodation cancellations, weather problems, unexpected work commitments, childcare issues or sudden illness that makes it impossible to attend a course.
  9. It is the right of the trainer to ask any learner that is disruptive to leave the class at any time during their training if they feel they are having a negative influence on the other Learners, in fairness to them. In the very slim likelihood, it would be necessary to carry this out, no refunds of the disruptive learner’s payment would be given
  10. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late without prior notice you may not be permitted to join the class and an administration fee maybe charged with any change of dates
  11. Learners must keep a-training up to date with any changes of contact details
  12. Please note that by paying for courses it is your responsibility to ensure you have read our terms and conditions which have been issued to you along with your initial enquiry, booking confirmation and also included within your invoice and hosted on our website, www.a-training.co.uk
  13. We reserve the right to update our website at any time (including the prices of our courses which are subject to change) and our Terms & Conditions are also subject to change. Any issues or concerns are to be addressed to [email protected]
  14. It is the learners responsibility to ensure that any treatments that they are trained in and wish to deliver to clients are covered by their own insurance prior to booking onto any training.
  15. It is the learners responsibility that they check local bylaws and regulations to ensure they can carry out any treatments within their own clinic, town, and country prior to booking onto any training.
  16. As part of the qualification criteria, a learner must hold a relevant qualification in English language if English is not the learners first language.

Intellectual Property Rights

  1. Please be aware that all our course material is copyrighted to a-training, and Learners are not authorised to forward the course materials or to use to teach any a-training courses using our materials.
  2. If you set up your own training school, due to the strict copyright we have on all our material, no paragraph, photograph from our web site or manuals or any written material given out may be copied, reproduced or transmitted without the written permission of the authors or in accordance with the provisions of copyright. Designs and Patents Act 1988.
  3. Any person breaching copyright may be liable to criminal prosecution and a claim for civil damages. By booking your place at a-training you agree to the Terms & Conditions above.

Booking Conditions

  1. All payments for courses can be made via Bank Transfer or credit / debit card.
  2. There will be an admin fee of £250 to cover any changes and future dates will be subject to availability
  3. There will an admin fee of £250.00 for any cancellations that occur within 14 days of your booking
  4. Any payments are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable outside of the 14-day cooling off period
  5. In the unlikely event that the course date you have chosen is cancelled by a-training you will be offered an alternative date.
  6. It is the learner’s responsibility to check with their insurance company that they are ok to add any new treatment into their policy before making a booking.
  7. If you have any questions before attending your course, please do not hesitate to either telephone or email us your concerns, we want to ensure that you are happy with your choices, and that you feel fully informed.
  8. a-training reserve the right to be selective with bookings it takes to protect standards.

Promotions:

  1. Any promotion for a-training can not be used in conjunction with another offer.
  2. Any vouchers, Business Build Bonds or a-training Rewards Points can only be spent on full price a-training courses (not qualifications) delivered by a-training and not third parties. Contact us for clarification on which courses are delivered by third parties.
  3. Offers and sales can be withdrawn at any time.
  4. Payment plans can not be used towards offers or promotions, these must be paid in full at time of booking.
  5. Vouchers are non transferable
  6. Vouchers are valid for one year

Cancellation policy

  1. We adhere to and comply with the, The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014 which states that any cancellations must be made in writing within 14 days from the date the course was booked (not the date of the course) i.e., if you booked with us on 10th May for a course starting in August, we would have to be notified by the 24th May if you then wished to cancel.
  2. We are unable to accept a cancellation notification via Pay Pal, Worldpay or any other third-party payment system you may have used when booking. It is not their responsibility to let us know of any cancellations. You must contact us first before contacting the payment gateway of your cancellations
  3. The 14 days cooling off period required under the Distant Selling Regulations states that if you fail to inform us within 14 days of the date of your booking was made all payments will be non-refundable and non-transferable. Please note all cancellations must be made in writing to a-training by email to [email protected]
  4. A non-refundable deposit of 50% for your course(s) will be deducted from your full payment if cancelled before the cooling off period, if all pre-study resources and are sent to you and/or you have been registered on our Learner Management System.
  5. If you do not turn up on the day or you cancel your attendance on the course day and/or have not given 5 days written notice that you will not be attending the course, then the full course fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Supply of digital content in the cancellation period

Once you have received the digital pre-study or resources within the cancellation period, you will lose your right to cancel. As advised previously verbally and in writing.

Cancellation of First Aid course

First Aid Courses must be attended on the designated date, if cancellation is made 21 days before the date no surcharges will be made. If it is cancelled less than 20 days of the course date you will be charged full payment of £495.00.

Cancellation of Complication course

Complication Courses must be attended on the designated date, if cancellation is made 21 days before the date no surcharges will be made. If it is cancelled less than 20 days of the course date you will be charged a full payment of £395.00.

Cancellation of Development Days & Assessment Days

Development days and assessment days must be attended on the designated date, if cancellation is made, you will be charged full payment of £395.00.
