Business Development Executive

We are a rapidly growing training company within the Aesthetic and Beauty Therapy Industry looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive who will be responsible for reaching sales targets whilst maintaining excellent learner relationships.

This is a B2C (Business to Customer) office-based role where we require the right person to be able to offer a consultative, knowledgeable service whilst also striving to hit deadlines and targets.

This role is busy, varied and unique and requires a candidate that has excellent multi-tasking, organisational and time management skills.


Job Description

  • Be proactive and go ‘the extra mile’ to meet sales targets and facilitate future sales
  • Contact both new and existing customers over the phone and via email to maximise all opportunities
  • Answer enquiries giving in depth and accurate information offering a consultative, knowledgeable service.
  • Log all activity and communication on the company CRM system ensuring all data is kept up to date.
  • Complete all relevant administration processes
  • Meet learners and clients face to face where necessary to upsell products and services
  • Deal with issues, complaints and concerns in an effective manner
  • Liaise with the training academy to ensure all processes and systems run smoothly
  • General office and housekeeping duties

Applicant Requirements

  • Experience of meeting sales targets and working to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills over the phone and via email
  • Must hold superior people skills and have the ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills
  • Good IT knowledge ie; CRM, Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Must hold strong administrational skills
  • Full training will be given however industry/qualification knowledge would be useful


Closing date 8th February 2020

Salary £18,000 to £22,000 (depending on experience) plus commission.

Monday to Friday

9am to 5pm (40 hours per week)

20 days annual leave plus bank holidays

The Sales team have a culture of a one stop shop for aesthetic training and conduct a proactive service at all times and its client communication charter is as follows:

  • Maintaining regular contact with all clients and students by professional, equal, efficient and consistent means.
  • Answer all telephone calls within three rings.
  • Acknowledge written correspondence within one working day.  Should such correspondence require a more detailed response, for example a discussion between Subject Matter Experts, the Sales team will endeavour to do so within two working days.

The Sales team will contribute to the overall success of a-training and sales income by: –

  • Working proactively with the Marketing team and contribute to a communication plan which will ensure monthly sales targets are achieved
  • Manage and achieve sales targets set to meet the company’s overall income objective
