October 2009 aUK Opens in Grantham delivering aesthetic treatments 2010 Aesthetic Training begins at aUK 2012 With the vision of making the industry a safer place. Chris Wade begins the pioneering work of developing the Level 7 Qualification 2013 Chris joins the now legendary Bruce Keogh (National Medical Director) Report panel to shape the future government regulations for beauty and aesthetics 2013 – 2018 Tiffany Tarrant and Chris Wade worked together for 6 years to produce level 7. 2018 After thousands of hours work and hundreds of thousands of pounds invested, Level 7 was complete and ready for OFQUAL 2019 a-training is formed as a separate entity under the aUK family to allow greater focus on training 2020 While the industry was in Lockdown. a-training was hard at work and became the first to ever have an OFQUAL regulated Level 7 for non-medics. The groundbreaking qualification was launched the same year. 2021 Chris Wade and Laura Sexton both became 2 of the first non-medic graduates of Level 7 2022 a-training gave further guidance to the government to ensure future aesthetic regulation with the help of Gareth Davis MP 2023 Laura Sexton came into the a-training family as a full time director. NOW! a-training has 700 practitioners who have either completed or are currently studying their Level 7 – this is far more than anywhere else.
